Dr. Madeleine S. Herman, MD, MPH, FAAOA
Dr. Madeleine Samuelson Herman, MD, MPH, FAAOA completed her undergraduate studies with High Honors at the University of Texas at Austin from the Plan II Honors Program, with a focus in Public Health and Nutrition. There, she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor society and completed a thesis entitled "Pediatric Obesity: A Public Health Perspective." Then, she went on to attend the University of Texas Medical School in Houston (now McGovern Medical School), where she graduated with her Medical Doctorate and Masters in Public Health and conducted research at MD Anderson Cancer Center's Department of Head and Neck Surgery. She then completed specialty training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and the esteemed Vanderbilt University Medical Center, which frequently ranks in the Top 5 Best Otolaryngology Programs in the US according to US News and World Report and Doximity Physician Rankings. She has numerous publications studying Otolaryngology, sinus disease and treatments, biologic and immunologic treatments of sinonasal diseases, and Head and Neck Cancer. She also has advanced training in upper airway and sinonasal allergies with a fellowship in Otolaryngic Allergy. She was named a "Top Doc" by Houstonia magazine for 2020, 2021, and 2022. She founded SCENT Houston to provide advanced Sinus and ENT care to Houstonians.

During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and exploring amazing Houston cuisine.
